The emotion we call...Anger
"You can change fear and sorrow to anger then turn anger to action, that's the body's secret of internal alchemy."
However, what I sometimes notice is that even though anger generates action, anger can lead to destructive behavior or out of control behavior. We sometimes say things to hurt others using our words to pierce them deep. So my question to you all is: How do we sincerely use anger to generate positive action instead of negative reaction? I guess it comes down to controlling our impulses. Thoughts?

Here's to the Crazy Ones
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers. The round
pegs in the square holes - the
ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules and
they have no respect for
the status quo. You can praise
them, disagree with them,
quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing that you
can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.

Are you getting enough face time?
It just brings me back to the clever Dentyne Ice ads I see on the subway. Lets put away our devices and make some face time. Nowadays I'm realizing how close we are to losing or missing one of the simple joys in life: being together. Lets take a few moments of our day to take action in interaction please.

Music is my Therapy

"I love your mind design."
I know his album came out almost a month ago, but I never had the time to actually sit, listen, and absorb his wonderful music until recently. I'm a R&B junkie so I'm definitely feeling Raphael Saadiq's album: The way I See it. With its Motown sound and appeal, I find it hard to resist playing it over and over again. It's a sure fire classic. My soul is moved and I'm brought back to the times of Marvin Gaye,The Temptations, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson...the list goes on. I especially appreciate his song, "Like It." I mean why woudn't I. It features Stevie Wonder! :)
When I think about how music affects people, it's quite simple. Music has an emotional impact on people. Music is a way to express yourself and sometimes it's a way to learn how to express yourself.
P.S. I recommend you listen to "Sometimes" on his album as well! You will not be disappointed.
